Glass inloader pallets from R-TECH – safety & efficiency for glass transportation

Maximum payload meets intelligent engineering

The transportation of large-format glass elements requires maximum precision and uncompromising stability. The glass inloader pallets (ILP) from R-TECH have been specially developed for these challenges in special transportation. With a statically tested payload of up to 32,000 kg, our load carriers set new standards in the industry and guarantee a safe flow of goods from the factory to the construction site.

Two variants for your individual requirements

R-TECH offers the glass ILP in two specialized versions to meet different requirements in terms of weight and robustness:

  • Variant I (standard): Made of high-quality structural steel, with a tare weight of 1,200 kg – the robust all-rounder for everyday use.

  • Variant II (Ultra Light): The use of high-strength fine-grain structural steel reduces the weight to an impressive 830 kg, maximizing the payload capacity of your fleet and reducing fuel costs.

Certified load securing in accordance with VDI 2700

At R-TECH, safety is not a product of chance. Our glass pallets comply with the load securing standard VDI 2700 (referenced in the text as VDM). A particular highlight is the adjustable stop safety device, which is suitable for both variant I and variant II. Thanks to the pin fixation and fine adjustment via a screw adjustment, the crossbars can be precisely adapted to the load. The contact surfaces are also covered with EPDM hard rubber to protect sensitive glass surfaces from scratches and breakage.

Durability thanks to “Made in Austria” quality

Each glass ILP from R-TECH impresses with its sophisticated design with 5 vertical uprights and 6 horizontal struts. The surface is primed and painted to a high quality, whereby the RAL color can be selected individually according to customer requirements. This not only ensures optimum corrosion protection, but also enables seamless integration into your corporate design.

FAQ for glass inloader pallets (ILP)

A glass inloader pallet is a specialized load carrier for the safe transport of large-format glass elements. The R-TECH Glass ILP is specially designed to offer maximum stability with an optimized tare weight.

The glass inloader pallets from R-TECH have a statically tested payload of up to 32,000 kg. This makes them one of the most powerful systems for heavy-duty glass transportation on the market.

R-TECH offers two main variants: Variant I made of high-quality structural steel (1,200 kg net weight) and the ultra-lightweight variant II made of high-strength fine-grain structural steel, which weighs just 830 kg.

Thanks to the low tare weight of just 830 kg, transport companies can maximize the usable payload of their fleet. This leads to greater efficiency per journey and a noticeable reduction in fuel costs.

The load carriers comply with the VDI 2700 load securing standard (listed on the website as VDM 2700). This guarantees legally compliant and technically flawless transportation of sensitive glass batches.

To protect the glass surfaces, the pallets are fitted with an adjustable safety stop that is covered with EPDM hard rubber. This material has a shock-absorbing effect and prevents scratches or breakages caused by direct contact with steel.

The glass ILP is designed for glass units with a maximum length of 6,000 mm and a maximum height of 3,210 mm. The basic dimensions of the frame are 8,600 mm in length and 1,520 mm in width.

Yes, the surface of the racks is primed and painted. R-TECH offers painting in any desired RAL color to perfectly match the pallets to your company’s corporate design.
